My Dreams Are Vivid Now

Evie Meyer
1 min readApr 17, 2020

Why now, of all times?

I couldn’t remember them before; a black moment of unconsciousness ripped away by a morning bell.
Now they come in clusters of purples and blues. I see them all the time, even when I am awake.

They come to me in Oranges;

Her laugh, her hair

They come to me in Greens;

His smile, his scent

My dreams are vivid now.

All the colors of the rainbow.
